Welcome

"Whoever receives you receives me."   Matthew 10:40

It is with great joy and enthusiasm that I welcome you to our parish website. Thank you for taking the time to look us up. I am convinced that our parish can be a fertile ground for you and/or your family where you can meet Christ through one another and, most especially in the Eucharist. As Catholics, we are a Eucharistic people who not only value our weekend gatherings with one another around God’s altar table, but also see our attendance at Mass as the starting point of our week from which all else flows. Please know the value we place on your joining our parish family.

We encourage you to “get involved” here at Prince of Peace because as in
all things… you only get out of life what you give to it. You will be amazed at the difference involvement in your church community will make in your life.

I sincerely hope your visit to our parish website will assist you in learning more about our parish community and our greatest resource – the wonderful and generous people who make up this community of faith.

Sincerely,

Rev. Richard M. Yanos
Pastor

Our Mission

Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are a Catholic community
open and willing to share Christ's presence and love
with all God's family.

Our Vision

Following in the Footsteps of the Prince of Peace

 Our Core Values

We witness our love of God and one another by...

...embracing all people with joy, warmth, and humility. We prepare a welcoming place filled with
kindness and hospitality.

...participating in a rich sacramental life filled with the Eucharist and forgiveness. We receive the
Grace that binds us together as The Universal Church.

...teaching and forming our children, youth, and adults in scripture, prayer, moral conscience, and traditions. We impart and live out our Catholic faith.

...recognizing and serving the poor among us - those lacking the basic needs of life and friendship;
and those poor in mind, body, and spirit. We are enriched by sharing God's gifts.

...striving for greater mercy, justice, and peace with dignity and respect in our family homes, parish communities, and the world at large. We fulfill our moral obligations as Christians.

...living out the Good News of Jesus Christ without fear of social, economic, or political pressure.
We embrace God's Reign on earth.
