Prince of Peace School is under the direction of an experienced principal who places top priority in promoting high academic standards that meet state and Archdiocesan requirements in a safe and structured learning environment. Prince of Peace School employs dedicated full-time teachers and a full-time Kindergarten aide. With an average of 17 years of experience teaching in Catholic schools, all of our teachers are degreed and several of them possess or are working toward Master's Degrees. The stability of our teaching staff contributes to a stronger sense of family at Prince of Peace School as students and teachers interact with each other before students enter a particular class. As a testament to their dedication and commitment to academic excellence, many of our teachers have been candidates for the Golden Apple Awards for Excellence in Education, while others have been included in the Who's Who in American Teachers.

In addition to our full-time staff, part-time teachers' aides are employed to assist children in 3 and 4-year old pre-school and grades K-3. Part-time staff also provide instruction in computer skills, music education, and physical education. A Learning Resource Teacher is available to assist the faculty in providing additional support to students with special learning needs.
Our teachers work closely with one another and with parents to create a Christian atmosphere and to be Christian role models. They believe in using a variety of strategies in the classroom to encourage the student's pursuit of academic excellence and to promote high self-esteem. Our small, intimate school community allows for each individual child to become part of the Prince of Peace family and to develop to their fullest potential.
